"Amazing gîte, everything you need for a relaxing and stress free holiday. Super peaceful location and the pool is an especially welcome escape from the heat. Despite being attached to the owners residence we barely knew they were there! Overall, one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in, well thought out, comfy beds, great hosts and super location and views We had one of our best family holidays at Gîte Hauteloup!"

"Ideal for two people, I was with my son (12) and we stayed 4 days at that lovely spot. Even with no AC in the summer, the place kept a certain coolness with the shades down. The kitchen is equipped to prepare some meals. We enjoy every evening a short walk to the Calvaire panorama, beautiful. We did the 14km Vélorail trail which is 1km from the studio, under tree shades. The city is very quiet and well situated to explore the Morvan. Enjoy."

"The photos don’t do the small house justice. The owners are both lovely and go out their way to help you make your stay, the most enjoyable it can be. The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."

"Accueil et communication soignés de la part de Marie Joelle. La maison offre un extérieur bucolique très reposant. L'intérieur est un peu rustique mais on s'y sent bien. Un peu a l'écart des points d'interet touristiques même si il y a de quoi s'occuper 1 semaine sans problème dans un rayon de 30mn en voiture. Belles balades au bord du canal, Chatillon, Decize, Nevers... Nous recommandons pour un séjour en famille ressourcant"

It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. The gite is spacious and has a lovely gravel patio area in front with great views of the countryside. "Cette maison est une ancienne dépendance d'une plus grande et belle demeure. Entièrement réaménagée, elle est particulièrement bien équipée pour accueillir une grande famille ou un groupe de personnes, pour un prix très raisonnable. Très beau séjour aux multiples fauteuils, cuisine moderne, grande terrasse meublée au calme... Tout y est grand, malgré son nom de "Petite maison". Merci aux propriétaires."
