Perfect family room in spotless charming elegance
unbelievably clean and new. spotless. Very charming, beautiful elegant decor, very impressed. Location was great - 10 mins from the beaches. Our family room was perfect - 2 rooms, a huge king and a twin bed. I wish every hotel had family rooms like this. Children don't want to share a sofa bed! we really do want to come back. If I had to pick one thing, I do love a coffee machine or kettle in the room. But perhaps its a Covid thing. And incidentally, Covid protocol was v good too.

Fantastic accommodation, never stayed anywhere so clean or beautifully decorated. Service was top notch, food was excellent and great value for money. Highly recommended!

So much better than what we thought it would be
We loved our stay at Château de Didonne. It was much better than what we were expecting. It's a stunning newly refurbished hotel that has just opened. It's run by a lovely couple why have spent the last 8 years restoring this wonderful building. They've done a brilliant job. It's both modern and old. They have clearly spent a lot of money on 1st class fittings throughout. The rooms are spacious, luxurious and beautifully decorated. We felt spoilt. Breakfast was very yummy inc some home made mini muffins. Would thoroughly recommend without any reservations - you genuinely won't be disappointed. We will be back. We wish the owners well in their new venture.

Etablissement remarquable
Très mal habitué à la médiocrité des hôtels de la région, nous avons été très agréablement surpris du château de Didonne. Idéalement placé à 10 mns d'à peu près tout, l'établissement présente toutes les caractéristiques du vrai luxe, avec un service discret et irréprochable, des espaces intérieurs et extérieurs de toute beauté, une restauration inventive sur des ingrédients de haute qualité. On en oublie l'absence de climatisation ou de piscine. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
