Had major problems with people being very loud during the night. The room above us and the room beside us. Tried calling front desk multiple times and go no answer. Noise continued all night. Same thing happened Saturday night security guard took care of the noise Saturday night. Had to make multiple calls and go down stairs to get them to help. Spoke to manager she was very rude and disrespectful to me. She told me nothing was ever reported. I feel like I she be giving a refund.

This was a conveniently located property with mixed reviews on Expedia, but we decided to give it a try. Overall this is a nice property, spacious unit, comfortable bed and kitchen was well stocked with most everything we needed for our stay. Upon further inspection, the entire unit could have used a deep cleaning, especially the shower and toilet area, additional everything was dusty with cobwebs through out. The pool area was spacious with lots of seating and towels were plentiful; however, the tile around the edge of the pool and hot tub could use a good scrubbing, and the hot tub was not operable at times. Otherwise, the staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant, with the exception of the pool bar attendant on Saturday. The grounds were also well kept. We will definitely give the Lakeside Lodge another chance next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here while moving our sophomore Clemson student into Epoch. Rooms are comfortable and staff was friendly. The outside spaces are a serene place to drink a cup of coffee in the morning or have a cocktail with friends in the evening.

Very nice accommodations enjoyed sitting at the bar talking with others. A few things I did not like 1) They did not accept cash to pay for the room. Do to this unfortunately we will not be returning. Also asked for maid service basically needing towels each day and did not get towels but got floor mat.

Stayed 26-27 July (Fri/Sat nights). Overall, the facility was clean and conveniently located. The restaurant, pool and pool bar were above average. If you stay in building 3, bring ear plugs or a noise machine. The adjacent room was loud between 12:30 - 1:30 AM, despite notifying security. Even normal conversations could be heard. Walking/stomping could be heard from the room above (we were on the first floor). Oh, and then there is the train whistle.
