We immediately liked the approximately 200 year old building. We carried out the renovation work with lots of love and energy and completed it in April 2015. An abandoned and almost dilapidated house has become a spacious, bright holiday home. The rooms are simple and tastefully decorated with mostly antique furniture. It has modern and comfortable equipment.
The thick stone walls keep the atmosphere cool in summer and warm in winter. We have largely preserved the old cement floors and sanded the raw, old wooden floorboards by hand and treated them with linseed oil. In this way, the charm of the old building has been preserved and makes the rooms cozy and special.
The house is located in the historic center of Seneghe. In addition to the impressive panoramic view from the roof terrace, the relaxing background noise of twittering birds, ringing church bells and bleating the sheep has almost something meditative.
The non-smoking house is ideal as a holiday accommodation for 2 to 8 people in every season.
