"This hotel was very nice in a very good value is very close to the airport and 2 miles from the city center. Taxis are required. Please ask them to turn on their meters or confirm the price to your destination before getting in them. Their restaurant La Scala was excellent!! I told them they deserve at least one or two Michelin stars. it is a great value incredible service and excellent food. Overall, this hotel worked great together as a team and you could tell how people are that work here. They were very helpful in booking excursions. Their restaurant buffet is excellent and the service is very good.! I was very happy to stay here for five days and now I’m at the Palazzo Tirso Which is €500 a night versus €100 a night for hotel Sardinia. A great value! I would recommend this to anyone that wants to come to Cagliari…. Kevin W"

"We loved our stay at this hotel which was a family holiday for 8 days. We booked two of the larger rooms (one double one single in each) as we were four (parents and children aged 19,21). The rooms were great with one of them semi divided down the middle. We could see the biggest rooms could take a family of 4 with younger children and those had the balcony. The hotel price is good - much less than central Calagari and with a car we had easy access to the city with a 15 min drive. The beach was 2 mins drive or 15-20 mins walk and was a nice beach with some restaurants. Other nicer beaches to the east were 20 mins drive which were good for snorkelling. There were restaurants nearby but we preferred to drive to the city and eat there most days. We visited a small winery town one day (Serdiana) and did a mountains walk. The hotel doesn’t have great views but not a big issue - it was quiet and the hotel had feee parking. The aircon was fine although we never had really hot weather. It may have struggled more in 36-40c. The staff were very helpful and room service great- all very clean. The breakfast we only had one day - it was fine but we didn’t want much so found a nice place opposite that did coffee and pastries for a good price. Most restaurants are good prices for pizza / pasta unless you go very fancy. Drinks are quite cheap and ice creams. As a UK family it was nice to go somewhere not so populated with Brits. The mini bar was useful as a fridge. Thank you Best Western!"

"Positive : Room was big and bathrooms are good . House keeping was done everyday . Negative : Swimming pool water was clean but surrounded by so many bugs and lizards . It was not convenient to swim in it . Breakfast was not very fresh . We were also asked to pay for swim towels which was very odd. Room carpet was not clean . "
