Mooie ligging en omgeving. Het meer van Bourget is een echte aanrader. Het appartement is echter gedateerd met heel oude keuken en badkamer (jaren 90?). Oud blad en keukenkastjes, scheuren, rotte voegen, etc. Ook schimmel op de muren, en roest in badkamer. Ook loslopende muizen. Dus echt tijd voor een upgrade van het interieur.

Het is een mooi groot appartement in kasteel Lapeyrouse. De ligging is schitterend en het ontvangst en de communicatie is heel goed. De keuken en de badkamer zijn aan renovatie toe, maar voldoen wel. Je waant je echt kasteelheer

De tuin is prachtig, maar het goedkope plastic tuinmeubilair kan echt niet. Doet echt afbreuk aan het geheel en is bovendien verre van comfortabel. Het kasteel is van buiten prachtig, maar binnen veel achterstallig onderhoud. Om maar wat te noemen: de verwarming van de badkamer rolt bijna uit elkaar van de roest. Het keukenblad is gescheurd en daardoor niet hygiënisch, de keukenvloer ziet er vies uit en de koelkast mist minstens twee plankjes. Het glasservies is bij elkaar geraapt en incompleet. Her kasteel zelf is een Belvilla, maar de rest, inclusief het zwembad, is het predicaat Belvilla niet waardig.

Leuk om eens in een kasteel te verblijven
Super leuke ervaring eens in een kasteel te verblijven. Het enige jammere is dat het niet heel schoon was. Overal lag stof, spinnenwebben. Er was lang niet goed gestofzuigd. Verder echt een top locatie, super mooie omgeving en het kasteel was erg indrukwekkend. Je moet niet bang zijn voor spinnen etc want die zaten er veel. Verder was het echt geweldig.

The castle grounds were stunning. The pool, garden areas and our terrace were perfect to relax around. The apartment was not clean. There were spider webs and spiders. The worst were the ants all over the kitchen. It was impossible to make any food in there and keep it hygienic. The staff were unhelpful and not understanding to deal with this.

We had a very nice long weekend in the Grande Salon of the Chateau La Peyrouse, ...
We had a very nice long weekend in the Grande Salon of the Chateau La Peyrouse, with 3 couples. The salon is magnificent, there are 2 good sleeping rooms + a small one. The kitchen is a bit small, but has enough fridge space and really everything you may need . Outside of the castle there is a nice and usable area. Frank is the most friendly 'ghost' of the castle. The landscape with Lac de Bouget is really worth a trip. Don't forget to enjoy the overwhelming lake view from the restaurant Belvedere some 10 km away.

The Grand Salon was better looking inside than we expected. The manager Frank became part of our family during the stay, he is so funny and was always around to help. I'll always treasure the memory of the castle and our mini family reunion since we rented 3 of the apartments in all. It was near my sister's wedding.
