"Spent a lovely week in this beautiful rental. While it is not next to the lake, it is a short walk down the hill. Visited Tomar and its wonderful historic sites, an easy drive. Relaxing in the garden was a great way to recharge."

All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...

"This hotel was such a wonderful experience that we extended our stay for two extra nights. Plenty of secured parking at very good rates and the breakfast was easily the best we had during our two week stay. The town of Tomar was lovely with wonderful restaurants and sights.
