The breakfast was a complete joke, the service was appalling and I was woken up at 11:30pm by two members of staff demanding I settle my bill the night before I was due to leave. "The hotel is extremely well located within the historic centre of Laon. We have stayed there on four separate occasions as we travel through France to or from the Channel Tunnel. The hotel itself is full of historic interest with a somewhat quirky charm. There is ample free parking within easy walking distance and a good choice of restaurants all within a hundred yards of the hotel door. We will be returning there soon."

"Every thing went fine. We had a small suite with the bedroom in the loft. Fine for us, but it would not be so for many. The spiral staircase looked like steel but was a heavy duty plastic. Very squeaky. The woman working there was helpful and let us check in early as we were not aware the checkin started at 5 pm. Quite unusual to be so late. Breakfast was nicely presented."
