"This is a great spot for meeting fellow travelers and organizing tours from. Like others have said, definitely a party hostel with free drinks from 7-11 pm. The private room bed we had was pretty hard, so a little rough sleep. Breakfast and coffee included in your stay. There are quite a few restaurants nearby or its an easy ride into El Nido town proper. "

"Karuna is exactly as described. They provided transport for our small children & pregnant mother from our apartment to the restaurant because the units are on a cliff. Prepare to do a lot of steps. "It is truly an amazing hostel with the most incredible view where you can chill and have a meal BUT they don’t tell you how hard it is to get there with a suitcase. There also has been some mix up with the storage lockers, because they are not numbered my stuff got moved without my knowledge by a member of staff to accommodate another guest, and when I returned from a day tour I found some of my belongings were just lying on the floor and that wasn’t very nice."
