Quiet and Secluded! Get away from the hustle!
True log cabin at the top of Bluff Mountain!
Screened in front porch to sit and enjoy the morning, evening, and all day in between.

Enter into original log cabin. The kitchen and sitting area are accented with vaulted beam ceiling and fans. On the main level is a bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with shower.
Upstairs includes a bunk room, large master bedroom and full bath.
Relax on large front screened porch. There is a charcoal bbq grill (charcoal not supplied)
TV's in main room, bunk room, and master. There is a hotspot box that works (most of the time) for upstairs televisions and wifi.
Downstairs tv has DVD/BLURAY. Bring your videos and passwords.
While we updated many areas we tried to leave the cabin as original as possible.

There is no cable tv. Most cell phones carriers work but it may be spotty. Wifi is from hotspot box and works in the upper level of the cabin.

Please note: if you are needing strong wifi, such as for work, this is not your ideal cabin. Sometimes there is no wifi at all. We are at the top of the mountain and services are limited. If you are looking for a cabin on flat land close to everything this is not that cabin.
This is truly a cabin to get away from it all!
***Please note: In order for our cleaners to be able to enjoy the holidays with their families, there will be no check in or check outs on any Thanksgiving, Christmas eve or Christmas Day, NY Eve or NY Day. Thank you for understanding!

An initial supply of toiletries is provided. As are towels and bed linens.

The roads to the cabin are steep and windy. You are going up a mountain. There are areas where the road narrows to one lane. We suggest arriving the first time in daylight. Go slow and enjoy the journey! Large work trucks and small cars have made it here with no issues. We do strongly suggest 4 wheel drive and possibly chains in the winter months. No refunds for weather and road conditions. Please know your, and your cars, comfort level.

Top of the mountain
This cabin is private and on top of the mountain with great views. Very cute cozy and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. Screened porch is so enjoyable. I would stay here again.

Great stay and Amazing VIEW!!
The cabin was very roomy and comfy. It may have been a wicked drive up the mountain but it’s all worth it for the price. The owners are very communicative and and want you to have the best time possible while you stay at their place. Me and my friends and fiancée had an amazing time!

A peaceful stay. Beauty at its best!
The cabin is up high, but so worth the drive. Very peaceful, quiet, with an inspiring tranquility. I would advise if you are not use to East Tennessee roads, be prepared for this one. It is steep and windy. But do not let that hinder, just have a season driver at the wheel and you will have no problem!

On Top of the Mountain
Let me qualify that I am from Louisiana and the biggest hill is an overpass that I drive over. This cabin is on top of the mountain. It is a 15 minute drive up. If you are ok with this then this cabin is the spot for you. This is what I wanted so it was perfect for my family.

Perfect
We had the best time. The kids (ages 12-16) loved the game room, as did I 😁. We were not there very much, but when we were it was cozy and comfortable. The drive up may be curvy and a bit long, but it is so pretty. We love the mountains so it was no problem for us. The beds were all comfortable which was nice after a long day of walking at Dollywood. The front porch was my favorite place with a beautiful view and comfortable seating. This was probably our last trip up to Tennessee, but would use it again if we ever went back.

Property is terrible. Did not stay. Had to go to a hotel. Cabin was dirty and had a a terrible smell. Still trying to get a refund back. The property does not look like the website.

Started out Good
The cabin was pretty much as described, even the description of the drive up to very close to the top of the mountain. We loved the cabin, perfect for our family. However, our bed had dead and alive bugs on the linens, pillowcases, blanket, mattress and bed frame. We did our best to get them all, including removing the covers and pillowcases and wiping the bedframe down, but we still woke up with bugs in the bed. It was very uncomfortable the first night. We were told cleaners were on the way and it was late, the drive to the cabin would have been tough. So we asked if they could come in the morning, which they did while we were out, and took my wife's blanket, and it was returned the next evening. The bugs may have been ants, but not bed bugs, thank goodness. The game room was next door, and other than the mouse dropping on the futon, and the gaming table being rehabbed it would have been okay, we did not spend much time there.

If I could give this cabin zero stars I would
The upstairs bathroom leaked onto downstairs bed. There wasn't a doorknob on the downstairs bedroom. Upstairs masterbed the Fram was broken in the middle held up with wooden blocks and it swayed in the middle . The towels were damp and smelled like cigarette smoke. Dishes were dirty and had rat dropping in the drawers. The twin beds the comforters had crusted food or something on them. Bathroom doors did not lock. The place was nasty. Upstairs sink in bathroom would not drain. Gameroom was filthy with spiderweb deadbugs and pool table was broke. The list goes on and on with this place. Do not stay.

Drive was scary in the dark up the mountain. Cabin and Game Room were not clean enough. Smelled moldy. Spider webs in game room. Games did not work. Did not stay second night because our daughter gets very sick in moldy environments.

Little disappointed when first arrived. "GameRoom" was dirty with cobwebs, dead bugs and overall musty smell. 5 in 1 table is basically on "last leg" and one of the games didn't even work. Let along didn't even know was in separate building. There were alot of other positive things. Beds extremely comfortable, bathrooms nice and clean. When reached out to property owner, Holly got back with us immediately and wanted to make things right but we adjusted. We appreciated being able to stay there, just a little disappointed overall.

Our annual May trip!
Myself, my husband, mother and father in law, brother in law and teenage nephew stayed in the cabin for a few days! We loved the cabin and location on the mountain! This is our third year coming to the Smokies in May for a spring trip! Each year we have stayed on Bluff Mountain! And each year we have went higher up! The drive is definitely a good one but we loved it and the views on the way up! The owners were excellent staying in touch with us before, during and after our stay! We hope to stay here again in the future!!

Thankful for and AMAZING birthday getaway!
There were originally supposed to be 4 of us staying but only ended up being my boyfriend and I. We had very minimal issues really the only issue was getting up the driveway but I’m a country girl so I was able to make my way! Our hosts kept in contact with us the entire time and made sure we were fine and had everything we needed. She also made sure to reassure to us that they will be looking into fixing the driveway which we appreciated very much! We are trying to make this a yearly trip and would love to be able to come back using vrbo! Thanks vrbo for helping us find a good vacation stay that wasn’t a hotel!!!
