Welcome to Serene- Our cozy Scandinavian style cabin nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains near Dollywood! This vacation rental is the perfect getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in some relaxation and adventure.

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, making it perfect for families or small groups. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The living room is warm and inviting, with plenty of seating and a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area.

The cabin also features a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to whip up delicious meals during your stay. There is a dining area with seating for six, so you can enjoy meals together as a group.

After a day of adventure, you can return to the cabin and unwind in the hot tub or challenge your friends to a game of ping pong.

Things to note*
Cabin is located on 44 acres of privacy, and access is through maintained gravel roads.

It only snows usually once or twice a year and melts away a day after. Normal vehicles can make the drive up no issue. Only advise suv's or 4x4s if it snows.

*Water is gold, our water is limited in these woods as we are on our own well system. Please do not waste water or you will run out. Please make sure all water sources are turned off when not in use.

-Please note that this cabin is a natural secluded forest area where there are bugs, insects, critters, bears and other animals. Unfortunately with a cabin in the woods these factors will be in play.

We do have a pest control company that routinely treats the property. We ask that you please be mindful and clean up any food outside that attracts these animals. Please remember to close all windows and doors to prevent the bugs and critters from coming in. We also recommend bringing bug spray and wearing a light jacket at night if outside.

A refundable security deposit is collected upon booking can be used to cover any damage that occurs during the stay. Automatically refund after 7 days after stay if no damages occur.

House Rules

*Our Cabin is only for responsible guest who will respect and not damage the cabin. Guest booking must be 21 years or older. Pets are allowed for a fee but must let us know size and number of pets ($100 pet fee per pet) Failure to report will result in penalty of $400. No parties or events. No Smoking/vaping or Drug use on property. No fireworks allowed.

*During stay: • be respectful of neighbors and neighborhood • treat house as you would your own (or better) • observe quiet hours 10pm – 8am • smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside or porches ($250 fee) • park only in driveway • lock doors when property unattended • no unregistered guests or visitors at any time ($250 fee per person per occurrence) and maximum 2 guests during stay • no disconnecting or tampering with wireless router, security cameras, smart lock or other electronics • no moving furniture • no illegal activity of any kind • no food outside other than bear proof trash can • follow all rules for hot tub use • no feeding wildlife • no items other than provided toilet paper to be flushed down toilet • Please do not throw anything off of balconies •To avoid extra cleaning costs please do not allow guests/kids to eat on beds or on sofas/couches • Please do not bring colored pencils, markers, crayons, and paints to the cabin•

*If there are any issues during your stay please notify as immediately.

*Prior to checkout: • thoroughly wash and dry dishes and put away • remove all food from refrigerator • deposit all trash in bear proof trash can • returned borrowed household items to original locations • turn off all lights, close all windows and lock all doors.


*** We highly recommend that all guests obtain trip insurance. If guests are unable to travel, they can contact their insurance holder to request reimbursement.***

Family time
We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was great for our last minute booking and the price was very fair. The road is a mountain road but that’s to be expected when booking a cabin in the smokies. We have a smaller SUV and didn’t have any trouble. We are a lounging, cuddling family. My only suggestion would be living room furniture that’s a bit more comfy. The communication with the host was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location
We loved our stay at serene gem. The location was great, easy access to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park. The view was beautiful and felt very private. Do suggest all wheel or 4 wheel drive; but with that no problem. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub, foosball and ping pong were a hit. The record player was a nice touch.We definitely recommend it.

nice but 4wd-only gravel road
We booked this property last minute in July 2024. The owner kindly let us check in early. The house is nice with a great view. The gravel road is narrow, curving, inclined, and ~500 yds long (per GoogleMaps). The property description had stated: “access is through maintained gravel roads.” However, part of the road was washed out on a curve adjacent to a drop-off. On our drive in, our front-wheel drive minivan got stuck in a clay rut with no gravel. Fortunately, we were able to back out and drive around it. However, this put us inches from a drop-off with our four children in the car. When we notified the owner of our concern, she replied within 30 min and refunded the remaining nights of our stay. She mentioned that her team was aware of the washout and was working to repair it, but we had not been told of the washout when we booked the day before. The road appears to need regular maintenance given grade, curvature, and frequent rainfall in the area. We later saw a small car driving down the mtn. The owner said that guest had no problem, but a narrower, lighter car even without 4wd would have an easier time on the road than a wider, heavier van carrying a family of 6 and their belongings. On our way out we unknowingly bumped the stove which led to a gas leak. We are grateful that no person or property came to harm and extended our sincere apology to the owner. We understandably lost our deposit. Otherwise, we attempted to take excellent care of the property.

Above rating is not accurate since I did not stay there due to I was unable to get to the property. Road was unsafe for my car. I had to find other accommodation. Host was notified and offered to escort me but did not get back with me for over 2 hours at which time I had already made other arrangements due to wanting to be able to enjoy a long awaited trip. When they did try to get in touch I was in the mountains and did not have cell service so did not get there message until after 3:30 pm. I did get back with them but like I said I had had to make other arrangements so I could be sure I had a place to stay. This caused a lot of stress and anxiety so my trip started out terrible

Quiet and restful
We wanted to stay somewhere near the excitement of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but not IN the middle of everything. This was the perfect location. The road up is a little precarious, I'm glad we got there during the day the first time we drove up. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back.

Stove oven and stop top were dirty, Spot on the king bed sheet, glad I brought some sheets. Fridge in the picture were a big size fridge. Fridge that's in house is small, barely hold food. Crouch small & not comfortable at all. Hot tub didn't work right, Both decks hadn't been cleaned. Didn't say it was so far in the woods. Wasn't worth the money we paid, won't do that again with this house, We had to leave early for a family emergency and couldn't even get little money back. That wasn't fair. Now I know why nobody rents this house """DIRTY""".

0/10 do not recommend. THIS WAS OUR HONEY MOON. We ran out of propane night one. Owners considered allowing us to shower in a dirty cabin an “upgrade”. They said we could stay in the “upgrade” cabin until we got propane back but then we would have to move back to our original cabin. We went three days without being able to take a hot shower or cook in our own cabin. Was it the owners fault? Probably not but we were very unhappy in how they chose to handle the situation. THE OWNERS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER’S AND DID NOT WANT TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT!

Hands Down, the best BnB we’ve ever stayed at!
I don’t even know where to begin; the property is gorgeous, peaceful, cozy, clean and in the perfect location (just far enough from town to enjoy the quiet mountain privacy but close enough that it’s not an difficult to get there). The pictures absolutely do not do it justice, this is an incredibly gorgeous and very comfortable property! The views are unmatched, coffee on the deck in the morning overlooking the smokey mountains, how much better can it get than that??? There is no question, I definitely see ourselves booking this property again and again!

Very nice cabin. Unable to watch TV due to poor internet connection, but I was sort of glad. Got to talk more with spouse. We enjoyed the hot tub. The road to the cabin was a little difficult.

Absolutely beautiful
Amazing hidden gem with a beautiful view of the mountains, from the hot tub you see a beautiful cut out of the mountain tops and not too far from gatlinburg or peigon forge. The property is just as it is listed by the pictures. And the owner is in consistent contact to make sure your trip is perfect. Beyond recommend this place for a nice couple getaway

This cabin was just a few mins outside of Pigeon Forge, but far enough to be able to relax and not worry about traffic. The provided games at the cabin kept our little ones busy during some much needed down time. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Cabin!
The cabin was modern,very beautiful and peaceful. Looks exactly like the pictures. Hot tub was very nice and stayed hot. It has a beautiful view of the mountains as well. It was close to everything but far enough to get away from the busyness of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The roads are a little rocky getting to the cabin, but that’s to be expected and we had no issues with our small little car that we rented. Highly recommend this place, and would definitely book again!

Mountain retreat
The cabin was lovely, but you definitely want an SUV or truck to get and down the road leading to the cabin. The location of the cabin is close to everything you will want access to while being away from everyone at the same time. During our stay, we lost power due to a storm and then lost water a few days later, despite being super-conservative. The balcony hot tub was very relaxing.
