"The apartment itself was pretty good. Excellent bathroom and a large lounge. It would be good to have some furniture on the balcony. The surrounding area is quiet and a fair distance from any shops or restaurants. The staff, when you could get hold of them. We were staying in Nevers for the motorcycle world championship at nearby Magny Cours. Three days here is long enough."

"Nice hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and I noticed as we left they were installing overhead rain showers. "A really nice, boutique hotel, but reception staff on arrival were not friendly, unsmiling and were unhelpful. As wine professionals, we wanted to taste some tank samples of unfinished wine in the bar. The staff wanted to charge us €15 corkage per bottle, even though we were not going to drink these wines. We would have bought a bottle to drink after the professional tasting. Having stayed here for so many years, I was really disappointed with the reception."

Wonderful stay and location

"Lovely hotel with modern comfort and beautiful views. Wine bar in hotel and breakfast offered each morning with both hot and cold options. Great location to walk around Sancerre and also close to many walking paths. I'd suggest getting a room with a balcony or view of the valley. "

Great budget hotel

"We stayed one night on the way to the south of France. Hotel was perfect for a stopover. Very clean with lovely staff. Rooms are functional but bed was comfy and shower was hot. Excellent breakfast. We drove into Nevers and walked along the river. Filled with petrol at the local supermarket and ate at a pizza restaurant just down the road. "
