"Really cute little cottage in a perfect location about 10 minutes drive from Charlottesville. Close to Crozet and all the good things around that area. Be aware it is right next to a railway track! And the trains go at night. I personally found that a rather comforting sound in the night, but the family was divided on that opinion, but all of us agree we would absolutely stay there again. "

The weather was a bit cool for the hot tub but the farm and pastures were exactly the respite for which we were planning. Our host, Steve, called to check in and offer recommendations. Great visit to Monticello, Jefferson Vineyards, the Highlands, Boars Head and Charlottesville."

"Our 14-member family stayed on the entire property (farmhouse, cabin and cottage) and had a wonderful time. This cottage is small and cozy and has beautiful views of green pastures. 2 fox kits came out to frolic in front of the cottage each morning, their den must be nearby. This cabin is perfect for a lone traveler or a couple."

"WONDERFUL! This was an outstanding property located in a perfect location. Parking wasn’t hard to find but it was 2 blocks. There was outside noise you can hear at night but having lived in NYC we didn’t mind. We reallly enjoyed the comfort the Penthouse offered and are looking to book again for a longer stay.."

"Such a unique, amazing stay. We are so happy we found this property for an early Thanksgiving getaway in Charlottesville to visit our family. The kitchen was stocked with enough pots and pans and appliances that it was perfect for making a full Thanksgiving meal. We loved it!"

"Cozy getaway for 2 with a scenic view. Spotless and very well designed. Comfortable bed and very nice large screen tv. The deck was perfect for a romantic drink under the stars. Our host did an exceptional job to make us feel welcomed. This was our 2nd stay with many more to come. "

"The apartment was spacious, super clean, and the host was nice and responsive. However, the kitchen is not super well equipped (for example there is only one mug, only one knife, no cutting boards, only one small pot and one small pan, etc.) and there are a list of rules that are not advertised when booking such as no alcohol, quiet hours, no eating in bed, taking shoes off at entrance etc. The check in process was ok except we did not get check in info until after 3 which caused some confusion....

"The cabin was the perfect way to spend a weekend getaway. The views at sunrise and sunset were to die for. It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here."

Very good place

"Stayed a couple nights and was happy there was a microwave and fridge in the room. The room was very clean. In the same parking lot was a laundromat and right across the street was a 7/11. I also used my gas app to find cheapest gas around and found it one block down just over the stop lights. Id definitely stay again "
