We booked the hotel for its good rating and accessibility to Shanghai airport. On arrival which was before the official check-in, we already got a room and the receptionist, a young male went above and beyond to help us with transportation to central Shanghai. The hotel isn't very well connected to public transport. It's either 10 minutes by taxi to a metro station or 35 minutes by taxi to central. Also, the hotel doesn't show up on the map if you order a DiDi, the equivalent to UBER. Downloading a Chinese keyboard on the phone made it possible. The room itself was spacious but unfortunately the AC didn't manage to warm it up at all and it was freezing in Shanghai that day and night. For breakfast which was included, a range of dumplings, white and black rice porridge, eggs in a variety, noodles, vegetables and cereals are available. Nothing to write home about it and okay. Wifi was bad and we couldn't do any research. The free airport shuttle bus leaves every hour at 6.05am, 7.05am, etc and takes roughly 30 minutes to Terminal 1. Unfortunately, the receptionist was the complete opposite to our welcoming experience the day before. All in all it was okay, however, due to the bad connectivity to central Shanghai, we wouldn't stay there again.

Clear instructions for Shuttle. Shuttle was punctual in pick-up from and delivery to Pudong-Shanghai Airport. Efficient check-in and check-out. Good breakfast.

This was an absolutely fantastic hotel. Free transfers to the airport and Disneyland. Great service and decent breakfast all for excellent value. There were noisy roadworks outside our room and they upgraded our room from a double to family room away from the noise so we could get a nap during the day. Loved it.

Staffs were very friendly and helpful. They helped us to download an app to get a cheaper taxi. After an hour, still couldn’t get a taxi from the app. One of the Staff was willing to use her account to call. The room size is good. Bed is comfy. The hotel logo is on the cups, tissues box,.. very unique. Many restaurants and massages spas but seldom shopping places.

The property itself was lovely. Both our room and the hotel itself were immaculately cleaned by housekeeping daily. The lobby staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary washing/dryer machines available on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle to Disneyland departs only once a day though. The only downside to this hotel was the surrounding area; however, this is of personal opinion. As someone from the West, the surrounding area can be a little bit of a cultural shock at first.
