Lillibridge Lake Home on Tittle Lake/Long Lake All Season Fun

The Lillibridge Lake House is just steps from the water on quaint Tittle Lake, nestled in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, surrounded by pristine, undeveloped state land. It is connected by a navigable channel to Long Lake, a 432 acre aptly-named body of water known for its recreational qualities including fishing, swimming, skiing, and boating. Very good ice fishing on Tittle lake in front of the house.

View the lake from just about anywhere in the house, in the loft, master bedroom, or the guest bedroom.

Road America is just 20 miles away with races through October
Whistling Strait is 30 miles away which has great golf and th quaint town of Kohler

Get out on the water in a complimentary canoe, row boat or kayaks. In addition, we have a pontoon boat for rent.

Enjoyable not only in summer, but all year round, Long Lake draws ice fishermen from neighboring counties. The Kettle Moraine State Forest Northern Unit provide hiking in spring, summer, and fall as well as cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.

Loved the fireplace!
We had planned to have another couple stay with us, but it ended-up being just my wife and I. So, it was a little expensive for just 2 of us, but it was great. We loved the wood floors and character of the house. The neighbors are very close, but it was very quiet. We even got to meet the neighbor's black lab, Charlie, who is very friendly.

Fabulous getaway Lillibridge Lake Home!
The property was very clean and check in was a breeze, we also had great communication with the property manager. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals and having a dishwasher made the time at the lake home much more relaxing. The lake area was so quiet and peaceful, we found some great walking trails very close to the house. The streaming tv and the wireless connections worked perfectly so we were always able to stay connected and cozy next to the fireplace, which we used every day. One important thing you might want to know is that the garbage has to be removed from the property and taken. to the state park and put in a dumpster. To dump garbage at the state park, you need a park sticker, which we purchased on line and consider it a donation to the Wisconsin state parks. Since it was November, when we arrived, the weather. wasn't nice enough to take the boat out, (which you can rent separately). The pontoon that's available is a very nice and large boat, you can put the entire family on it. We would love to make a return visit to the lake home in the summer when we can take advantage of all the fun toys and probably some awesome fishing. Thank you. Lillibridge family for a wonderful stay.

We didn't get much time to enjoy the house as we were at the track (Road America) which is 12 miles away. However, it was so nice to come back to the peace and quiet of this little lake house after a loud warm day at the race track. We plan on using the house again next year.

Great place even off-season
We really enjoyed our stay and found the lake house cozy and as described in the listing. It was evident that the hosts have thought through everything and they were very nice and professional. Plenty to do in the area - hiking, neat hang-outs, regional restaurants, a winery and, of course, Long Lake. We'll definitely look to this place in the future for another getaway.

Beautiful Lake House
Our recent stay at the Lake House was perfect! The booking was flawless and the hosts were quick in their response when we requested to add an additional day to our trip. The house had every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. I love the fact that the host allows dogs, the fenced in yard was great! We stayed in mid February, the views of the lake with a light snow was just gorgeous. The neighbors I met were friendly, one even snow plowed the driveway! The location is great, all of the towns I visited were about 20 min. away. I have already booked our summer trip.

Lilli Pad Weekend Stay
Our family of four enjoyed our last weekend stay at the Lilli Pad. Thank you for sharing it with us. Before going, I did read what other people had to say about the nostalgic looking cabin. I would like to say that some updates have been made including new fluffy white towels, new cooking kettles, a wall-mounted flat screen t.v., and new entry lock (entry was simple). A water tank for drinkable water was a nice addition, especially when making coffee. We had no issues with the internet. Even with the t.v going, two phones and an i-pad, things worked great. I am sure there are other updates I am unaware of, but I thought I’d comment on the ones I noticed. We all enjoyed the crackling fire, wow. It was not smokey, only beautiful. The cabin has a wonderful view of the lake. I could even watch the sun rise. A spectacular scene!! I spent some afternoon time reading while sitting in the glider in the loft upstairs. I was able to watch my husband ice fish. My son enjoyed cozying in on the big overstuffed chair in the corner. There is even another fireplace in the loft, but we did not light that one. The beds were comfortable and there was ample space to put our things. It was convenient to have a bathroom on both levels. We did not visit any near-by towns, but there are some cute restaurants just a few miles down the road. We enjoyed using the kitchen and making what we call “small plate” foods. Also, since it was winter, we were not able to use the boating/water equipment, but it definitely looks like fun summer time stuff is available for use! All in all, we completely enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. Two days go by too quickly. I’d recommend three, plus! At this time, it was important for our family to spend some much needed quality time together talking, snacking, playing games, walking on the lake and watching movies. The Lilli Pad completely fit the bill. I highly recommend it if you are looking for the same family experience we had. We would like to visit it again, but maybe next time in summer:).

The overall poor condition of the property outweighs the positives
We chose this property based on the positive reviews. The reviews do not reflect the condition of the property during our stay. Starting with the kitchen, the interior of the stove was dirty, looking as if it had not been cleaned recently; the cabinets felt grimy with some doors and drawer fronts/handles falling apart in places; the counter behind the kitchen sink looked moldy and dirty; the cooking pans were dirty and greasy to the touch (we washed everything before using); the window sill over the sink was dirty and dusty. In the living room, the window sills had dead bugs in the cob webs, thick cob webs next to the desk, and a cord running through the living room was a trip hazard. The loft had thick cob webs in the windows, white dog hair on the comforter, black dog hair on the bedsheets, dust on the ceiling fan(fans appeared to have not been dusted for weeks), quite dusty under the master bed; moldy dirty shower head, beat up counter around bathroom sink. The towels supplied turned grey with one use. The kitchen hot pads were grimy and dirty. Over all, this property gave the appearance of not having been thoroughly cleaned in some time. We took photos to support what we list above. We can send those photos to VRBO and the owners if requested. We paid a cleaning fee that did not reflect a professionally cleaned residence. Lastly, it is not clear from the website that the bedrooms are in the loft. The stairs are steep and the railing stops two steps short of the top of the stairs. The listing should have identified the need to use stairs to access the bedrooms. We do not feel we received good value for this property. We are obviously very disappointed in this listing that, in our opinion, did not meet the standards expected of a VRBO listing or of a Premier Host.

Great interior with great lake view from the loft, rooms are spacious and cozy; photos posted with the listing are too modest to give a right impression of the place. Safe place for dogs, the backyard properly fenced and spacious with access to the lake, boating was easy including paddles and swim vests of many sizes available. No worries place!

The Lilly Pad was great!
We had a great time fishing, grilling and watching the sunrise over the lake. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Funny story, we were watching Morbius on netflix and a bat started swooping around us. Luckily I caught it in a fishing net and released it outside. It reminded me of that movie The Great outdoors lol. Thanks for the good memories. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would like to return.

One thing missing...the sun...
As we snapped our last snap on the boat cover to come home after a 4 day stay - THAT'S when the sun finally came out. Despite the sun's absence, we had a great time. The fishing was fantastic - whether it was off the pier or within Tuttle Lake. Everyone caught something (bass, panfish, and perch). The funny part of the cottage is it pitches toward the road. You definitely "gain momentum" going that direction :-) - especially our 1 year old grandson. We also enjoyed being so close to Long Lake's public beach - a nice area with lots of paved walking paths. The guys are hopeful to return early next summer - for more fishing!

Great week in the Kettle Moraine
This place was so quiet and peaceful. Right on the water with a beautiful view out. The owners welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a binder full of great, local information. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals and town was super close with a great restaurant (McJuggers) and an incredible breakfast spot which was so unexpected. The location was great as we were able to visit a few wineries, hike a bunch of different places, and even pop over to Lake Michigan for some a day on the ocean lake beach. The Piggly Wiggly in Plymouth is better than the one in Campbellsport if you’re not familiar with the area like we were. Overall a great week with the family!

Overall our stay was great. The only thing I would say we were bummed about was using the fire place. The chimney flue was not properly working and smoke came into the house. The area is pretty remote so service was spotty. But over all a great time with my dad and grandma
