"We have chosen to stay in Hotel Shamrock for our 46th wedding anniversary because of its central position and a wonderful feel of yesteryear (we also stayed here in 2018). We were upgraded to Nellie Melba room. A lovely gesture on the part of hotel staff. The room was so spacious we could dance a night away here. The hotel has a few “wrinkles” and “saggy” bits here and there, but the charm is irreplaceable. We will be coming back next year for the irreplaceable charm of the old world and the friendliness and kindness of the staff."

"It was a lovely big room with. Very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with good fit out. Great to have a microwave plus good kitchen type things like good wine glasses and mugs. Large tv. Table and chairs. Really, a good motel."
