"We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. It was perfect for our needs. It is situated on a quieter stretch of beach, and the beach itself is wonderful. The kitchen was well appointed. The views from the large windows are spectacular. The master suite is especially lovely. The property managers were responsive. We highly recommend the option of the beach chair service, and the bonfire was a true highlight of the trip. We would highly recommend this special property! "

"Got to the room on Sunday afternoon at 4:40 pm and did not have the wristbands or parking pass. So I called and waited 3 hours and then was told I had to go pick up the Wristband and parking pass at a different location while on the way I was in a car accident so was not a great start to the vacation. "

The only issue was the shower in the hall bathroom does not drain that was not an issue for us because we did not need to use it. " This condo was perfect for us. Having two bathrooms was very nice. The master bed was so comfy. We were amazed at the stunning view from the nice-sized balcony. To me, one of the best parts about the condo is its location. The assigned parking is right by the elevator, which is right by the door to the condo. It’s literally steps away from the beach! There were plenty of towels as well. The owner was so kind and shared info about good restaurants etc. Cannot wait to come again!"

"Everything was great till Tuesday the day before we had to leave! Two of the young guys that work at the cabana on the beach in front of building III and close to the volleyball net! Came down to the edge of the beach and decided to fish! They cast out their lines in the area we were swimming and hanging out. One of the fishing poles was directly in front of me! We let them know we were not happy and neither were some other people swimming in that area! I said it loud enough for them to hear me...

"We have stayed in the Calypso 2 other times at different condos. This condo is on the lower side as far as condition, but the price and location are great. Plan to bring some lawn chairs if you want to enjoy the view from the balcony. There is only one chair outside and it is broken. Also, there was only 1 hand towel for the kitchen, so you'll need to bring/buy additional dishcloths to do dishes and wipe the counters, etc. Overall, we got what we expected after reading previous reviews. "We loved our vacation at PCB. The house was great and as described. The location was the best we ever had at the beach. Our rescue dogs loved the house and the beach. The bedroom and beds were perfect. We were central to Frank Brown Park and Pier Park. Everyone had a great time and we will return. "

If available opt for the kitchen units at a very modest upcharge from the non kitchen units. Please note that most of the negative comments are from people who did not realize the non oceanfront rooms are across the street in an older building even though that is clearly noted on both Expedia and the hotel’s website. The difference in price is not great so always book oceanfront and you will be much happier. I would note that the change in ownership and new staff has caused some confusion with front desk staff but be patient. They are honest and accommodating if a bit uncertain at times. "
