"I had an amazing and relaxing time at the Oceanfront Inn. The view is simply breathtaking. My room was very clean, and it is well decorated. It is so quiet here, as well! No sounds of busy roads, just the sound of the Pacific. The drive on the winding mountain roads are well worth it! The Innkeeper Nickie is awesome. She called me right before I was ready to leave for my trip. She really accommodated me when the room I booked wasn't available- thank you again, Nickie! I will definitely be back, hopefully I can stay longer next time! "

"We have stayed at this rental a few times and will likely come again. The deck is deck is amazing! We could spend the whole trip out there watching the ocean and the planes flying in and out. Sofa is a little small and very low to the ground. Maybe not idea for more than 2 people or travelers with weak knees.Coffee shops, brewery, golf course and airstrip 'in town' are easily walkable, but the return trip is uphill."

"This quaint, cozy home was exactly what my family was looking for as a holiday hideout on the coast! We were able to cook, grill, relax, walk, golf, and frequent both the brewery and pizza place nearby (both fantastic). This was our first time in Shelter Cove and it is both remote and beautiful. We loved hearing the ocean roar, watching the deer on their daily visits, and catching beautiful sunsets between rainy days. The home was clean and comfortable, with soft bedding and plenty of comfy towels. Alessandra was helpful and communicative, giving us a heads up that we could access the trash cans on trash day (very helpful as you must otherwise keep all trash stashed inside the home due to wildlife and the cans being kept in a locked space inaccessible to guests). We also really enjoyed the artwork throughout the home, including stained glass and lovely photography. If you are looking to truly "get away" and enjoy the Lost Coast, this is wonderful place to do it! "

"This house has a great view of the ocean and is walking distance from the lighthouse and other Shelter Cove highlights. Comfortable beds and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, etc to cook for the family during our stay. We loved our stay here!"
