Family Time
This place was absolutely amazing. Plenty of space for everyone. Even my son who is in a wheelchair was able to move around with ease. Loved sitting upstairs and listening to my adult children in the basement playing pool and laughing. Highly recommend this place!

Bear Crossing Beauty
Beautiful cabin with nice amenities. Convenient location for the National Park, hiking, Luray Caverns, river recreation, etc. Kids had a blast! I'm a tall guy and would have liked a queen bed, but it was OK, very quiet and peaceful.

Long Weekend Retreat
This cabin in the woods was exactly what we needed to unplug & relax! The place is amazing with so much room. We had amazing weather and enjoyed the wood burning stove. We played corn hole on the porch, took advantage of the hot tub and cooked many great meals in the spacious kitchen. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Bear Crossing!

Great Family Get Away
We had a great time relaxing and just being together. Best pool table in any cabin we have ever rented. All three other games, two arcade games and an ice hockey table were all broken so we could not enjoy those. Overall a very spacious and great place to vacation.

Spacious Log Home in the woods
We were a group of 9 - mostly family celebrating a wedding nearby. This large cabin had many bedrooms and good first floor and basement gathering and entertainment areas. The kitchen was equipped with lots of dishes and glasses. The house and hot tub were very clean.

Great family vacation cabin
Our family enjoyed the spacious cabin and ask the beauty nature had to offer from the porch and relaxing in the hot tub. We had many nights under the stars, sitting around the campfire. Cabin was clean just as pictured. Contact with the owners was very timely as a storm rolled through and we lost power. They kept us updated and responded quickly. It was a great spot, secluded but not too far from everything.

Mountain getaway
Wonderful experience in Shenandoah staying at Bear Crossing. The inside was just as described, very clean, cozy and beautiful. The outside, probably due to the storms the last few days needed some tending. The porch needed to be cleared off of limbs, twigs, etc. so the kids could play on the porch. Hot tub was clean and wonderful. Due to only one thermostat in the house on the main level the upstairs loft bedrooms got uncomfortably warm. Great location for getting away with the kids and grandkids to enjoy the beautiful scenery

Nice Cabin.
Overall we liked the cabin. Very clean. We did encounter a problem when the water heater stopped working! The property manager could not get anyone up to fix it before we left. This was totally understandable but pretty troublesome as we could not shower, bathe the kids, or get the dishes clean. Just disappointed we were not offered some sort of compensation for this major inconvenience.

Not prepared for guests
When you go on vacation you’re supposed to be care free we don’t have paper towels garbage bags and all these things that are supposed to be fundamental that a house needs and hotels provides for you. The wifi was also unreliable, which should be provided especially in an area where there would typically be no service for the average user. It was a nice cabin, great scenery, and a lot of things for the kids. But there should be some more essentials provided , we as guest shouldn’t be worried about driving out 40 minutes for toilet paper, trash bags , and other necessities .

Overall place is awesome
My only complaint is that several of the rec games provided on the premises were broken with signs on them to not use. If you’re not going to fix them then they should be removed. Or fix them. The microwave above the oven is also broken and a countertop replacement was provided. But I feel that if equipment within the property is not going to be repaired then they should be removed. You can tell the broken air hockey table and 2 arcade games have been broken for quite some time. Beds were comfortable, cabin was spacious and laid out well. Overall enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Perfect Retreat
This was the perfect retreat for our Girls Only Family Reunion. It had plenty of space which allowed us all to spread out. Yet the tables and main rooms were large enough for us to congregate as well. FYI...if you plan to cook, there are lots of kitchen tools on the property. But there is absolutely nothing disposable. No soap, a partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, and no kitchen staples at all. Be prepared to bring everything. Also, the internet is not the greatest. And the property is up a sometimes steep, winding gravel road. All that being said, we loved the property!!! The owner was extremely quick to respond to any question we had. There is plenty of entertainment on site. And the surroundings are beautiful! We are already planning to return to the same property for next year's trip. It was wonderful!

Fall Getaway
These home was amazing!!! Except, the owner needs to check the hot water tank. The water would never get above lukewarm. That is the only complaint we had. We had to boil water to wash our dishes as there was not enough hot water to run the dishwasher.

Very nice cabin
We stayed here to celebrate my mom’s birthday. There were 11 of us, ranging in age from 7 to 70. The cabin was the right size so that we weren’t on top of each other. And there was plenty to entertain the kids - video games, a pool table, and an air hockey table. We adults enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. It’s a lovely cabin, looks just like the pictures. Very convenient location for all the day trips we took. Would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to the area.

Wonderful Mountain Log Home
Wonderfully spacious beautiful home, amazingly even larger than the pics present it as. Having a Hot Tub, Pool Table & Fire pit @ located in the woods make it great for private group entertainment. The kitchen is a great size, with an additional small fridge built in. Bedrooms are on all 3 levels with 1 AC, but it’s manageable with sweatshirts.

Bear Crossing
We spent the whole week of Thanksgiving here at this large beautiful cabin. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to make a great dinner. Our week was unseasonably warm and we spent most days playing cornhole on the deck. Our only negative was the hot tub which never heated up. The hot tub guys came out Tuesday afternoon and we tried to go in that night but the water was 84 degrees, rather chilly. Nonetheless this didn’t dampen our wonderful time spent at this lovely cabin. Highly recommend
