"This is a lovely home that can accommodate multiple guests. Plenty of room to spread out. Has every amenity. Well-stocked kitchen. There was difficulty reaching the owner to check in. We never received an access code until 45 minutes prior to check in time. It is in a remote area with limited services nearby, which made the situation even more difficult and stressful."

"The space was perfect for our large group. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Great outdoor space and plenty of parking. It is just a quick trip up HWY 44 to Eskimo Hill sledding spot and Lassen National Park. Shingletown has all you would need at the local store also right down the way. The owner was quick to respond and directions on accessing the home were clear and easy. Highly recommend!! "

"We baked a few Costco take and bake pizzas, played games and drove up to see it snowing in the park to ring in the new year. The next morning we drove to the Subway cave and Burney Falls. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had everything to make our quick trip enjoyable. The location was perfect. Ping pong was fun! "

"My family and I had a great time at the cabin. It is clean, warm and well stocked with everything you could need. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful and tree filled. The roads are paved and clear right up to the gravel driveway. Communication with the owner was clear and easy. The only "cons" would be the hot water does not last very long so it was a challenge getting a family of 4 showered in the evening after a day of sledding. As mentioned in other reviews the internet could get laggy...

"We had a great time at this home and it was perfect for our needs. We just wanted a quiet and relaxing getaway after all the holiday festivities and we wanted to be able to drive up to the Mt. Shasta area, which was about an hour away. The home itself was in a calm and quiet neighborhood, it was large and spacious for 5 people and a small dog. It was raining that weekend, so we didn't get to spend as much time in the backyard as we would have liked, but during the summer I'm sure the pool...

"The home was very inviting and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The beds were very comfortable and the home was spacious. I appreciated that the hosts were generous with their disposals such as paper towels and toilet paper - it just doesn’t feel like vacation if you have to go buy TP. I asked the host a question shortly after arrival and she answered promptly and then checked to make sure I received her reply. As we visited in February the weather was raining...
