"The hotel in general was very good. Service was excellent. My only criticism is that our room was dark as there was a very high hedge about 4ft from the window. The curtains were actually blackout linings and the adjoining door to another room didn't have a lock but a lump of tissue paper stuffed ..."

Very pretty old world village with good eateries (many in pubs) & easy to get around. Went to Hidcote Manor Gardens (National Trust) near Chipping Campden (about 15 mins drive) & had a very enjoyable time. Lovely gardens & great cream teas...Yum.
