"What a little gem. The property is situated behind the shop and pub, but you wouldn't know it, it's so quiet! It has everything you need and feels very spacious with the vaulted ceilings. We loved it. The location is ideal as you don't really need your car to get about. We walked to the beach, into town, the local nature reserve and along the river. "We were very lucky with the weather which helps but we love the area as there is always something to do. The cottage was spotless and has all amenities (apart from washing machine no space ) and there was a very nice cake awaiting us as well as tea ,coffee and milk . Parking was fine on quiet street and the garden is a delight. The owner kindly reminded us about the steep stairs but we managed as we did with downstairs bathroom. Overall highly recommended for a relaxing stay in New Forest."

"My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you"

"fab trip, we booked Thai cookery class at local restaurant and needed a base as we came from London, checkin in at the bar was easy and the room was great, no wardrobe but I knew that, a few hangers on hooks on the wall, had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and handsoap. compact bathroom but did the job, double bed, various lamps, tea coffee making very clean and very comfortable and good value, hotel room also quiet, couldnt hear other rooms. Bar staff friendly ! "
