Just lovely place easy to walk about as I have to use walking sticks
We stayed at Newton Poppleford for the purpose of attending an event at Bicton Arena, which was just a few miles up the road, and did not, therefore, have reason or time to visit Sidmouth whilst there.
Loved Sidmouth itself It is beautiful. We stayed because we were off to the Donkey Sanctuary and it is very close to that and definitely both places are worth a visit.
Lovely town with excellent shops. Lovely seafront. Good base for touring around.
Neil's restaurant in Sidmouth was excellent, especially the fish dishes.
