Lovely break in Sidmouth
"Lovely staff. Clean room. Good food. Great location. Breakfast was fab. Fish and chips in Dukes next door (part of the hotel chain)was amazing. But the bedroom was so hot. No radiator or towel rail were on but the room was like a sauna. Slept on top of bed with window wide open but very hot all ..."

We stayed at Newton Poppleford for the purpose of attending an event at Bicton Arena, which was just a few miles up the road, and did not, therefore, have reason or time to visit Sidmouth whilst there.

Loved Sidmouth itself It is beautiful. We stayed because we were off to the Donkey Sanctuary and it is very close to that and definitely both places are worth a visit.
