"Such a well run hotel. It was a pleasure to stay here. So much thoughtfulness and care without being fussy or stuffy. The setting is gorgeous and the comfort is top notch. "The spa is downright false advertising. The hotel website has a whole page about the spa, featuring various steam rooms, etc, and saying the wellness area is open starting 8 in the morning. The reality is that all wellness facilities remained closed in the morning with the exception of a lukewarm bathtub sized whirlpool even after we complained to the hotel manager. Given that we picked this hotel because of the spa this was quite a turnoff. The room and the hotel bar were all right."

"The staff and food was all great. The location is very good except when it is a weekend with the party people circling the hotel until after midnight. I do remember when I was young so having earplugs does help. I would suggest they take the bright green light off of the phone on the wall as it lights up the whole room. "When we arrived, we were not greeted warmly, almost accusing us of not having a reservation. While we were searching, she took a phone call and said” ah yes ! Here you are!” There was no one else in the hotel- we arrived on our floor, the door was closed to the hallway we had to walk down. Lights would not turn on. The room was nothing more than a motel 6, but the view was spectacular. Went down to have a beer. Server was not friendly at all- said no English! Sadly he was our server for dinner....
