"I booked this property on behalf of my son and his 5 friends who are all aspiring athletes. They came to st moritz for altitude training. They had a wonderful time and found the property clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything they needed. The property is close to lots of great running and cycling routes as wel as a track and a lake. The property owner is really accomodating and understanding for example when they lost the laundry room key and also she allowed them to leave...

"The apartment is located in an old hotel but the location & condition of the very large apartment was very good. Driving to all the villages in the Engandine was a beautiful experience. The location is excellent & many restaurants are available within 5 miles ."

"The shower was a bit uncomfortable. The internet was not all the time and in all the apartment strong enough. I suggest to add some heat resistant gloves in the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and will come back for sure."

"Lot of construction on the way up the hill to the hotel. GPS got confused gping on the goat path, the only way we could get there. We new it would be somewhat isolated so we brought a few food items because the kitchen was advertised. Olny one pot. No frying pan. "This property appears to have remodeled and non remodeled apartments. Apt 9 is not remodeled and on the third floor ( no elevator). The bath and bedroom ceilings slope and are dangerous for anyone over 6’. They claim it has three twin beds but it’s really two twins and a cot. This apt comes with no hand soap ( I’ve stayed in hotels in Cambodia and Laos that provide hand soap), no dish soap, no sponge or dish towel to clean dishes ( kitchen did have one hand towel. "This place is about 20 minutes from city center, not far from the lake. There is a Lidi supermarket at the ground floor. Watch out - the room lacks some of the basic necessities, not even a box of tissues. The electric stove does not work in the room, so we just eat out. We have been to a few different hotels and apartments in Switzerland during our trip. so far this is the worst place we have been to. "

"Two weeks spent in the Valtellina at the height of summer. The house was ideally situated for exploring the various different small valleys that lead to the high mountains encircling the valtellina. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with little or no distractions. Everything in the house was as expected and we echo the recommendation to eat at the rifugio Mello."

"Overall, the stay was great. It’s a beautiful hotel with well kept facilities. The pool and spa are great. The breakfast is wonderful! We had only one complaint: the shuttle to the train station. Upon check out we were asked if we wanted to use it and said yes. It was scheduled to leave 10 minutes later and no one showed up to drive the van. We waited about 15 minutes after it was scheduled to leave and no one ever came. It was at checkout time so the lobby was very busy and we didn’t have time...

"Overall, the stay was great. It’s a beautiful hotel with well kept facilities. The pool and spa are great. The breakfast is wonderful! We had only one complaint: the shuttle to the train station. Upon check out we were asked if we wanted to use it and said yes. It was scheduled to leave 10 minutes later and no one showed up to drive the van. We waited about 15 minutes after it was scheduled to leave and no one ever came. It was at checkout time so the lobby was very busy and we didn’t have time to stand in line to talk to someone at the service desk. We missed the train we originally planned for, took the bus to the station, and it delayed our return trip to Milan. It was a frustrating experience. Overall, the stay was lovely but that was a sour note to end on. "

"The hotel is a short ride from the train station. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Very nice restaurant just downstairs from the room. Breakfast included a wide selection of pastries, fruits, cereals, juices and other beverages. We were surprised that the "balcony" faced another building across a narrow alley. Bed was firm (which we like) but the pillows, although large, were way to soft. Despite these items, we would definitely stay here again. "

The food and drink quality at breakfast, room service and when having drinks in the library was exceptional.
