The Royal Hotel is very nice place to stay with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and excellent facilities. It is just a short walk from Novena MRT which makes it convenient for travelling to all parts of Singapore. The Hotel is really good value for money, compared to others in a similar price bracket and we are looking forward to our next stay in February, when we will be travelling back home to the UK.

Air con in our room was terrible. A family room for two adults and two children (8 and 11) only includes a double and a single bed. Room was outdated and rusty. We booked and pre-paid through Expedia, but they couldn't find our reservation. Hotel is very conveniently located between two MRT stations and there is a bus stop just outside.

The room was ok. but really tired- the windows were dirty and the bathroom dirty. and there was almost constant slight noise outside the room - staff talking, etc... poor gym. really disappointing for the price tag... old, tired and not great location is ok

On rge whole, the building was clean. Front desk staff were polite & friendly. However the hotel is old, room toilet was in a mess with cleaning work half done & aircon not working properly, quiet warm & not adjustable. I would notcwant to go back to this hotel again, will try newer holtels.

Such a poor Wi-Fi connection…..
It is quite well maintained as an old hotel. People at the reception are very nice! However the Wi-Fi connection was so bad that it disconnected from time to time while watching the YouTube and having video calls. I got a latest MacBook Air but it still made me suffer - sooo inconvenient!
