We stayed for a week at the Pan Pacific, our room was quite large although couples will find there is little room to store your belongings so you may need to keep everything inside luggage. The room service food was wonderful and quick. The only criticism we had was the housekeeping staff were understaffed so often the room would be cleaned around 4-5pm. Our minibar also wasn't stocked 2 seperate days which was somewhat annoying considering it is a 5 star hotel. Overall we were very comfortable and would definately come back!

The first thing one notices after stepping out of the taxi upon arrival is the OUTSTANDING service. The entire Staff from the baggage porters to the doormen to the receptionists is clearly devoted to making the guests feel welcome and quickly and efficiently processing them into the system. From start to finish, you will not once detect even the slightest bit of any attitude other than to cheerfully serve. The entire Staff is wonderful (and our American workers can learn a lot of lessons from them…I’m an American and I know.) The room is gorgeous with a lovely view and the hotel is conveniently attached to a shopping are with a money exchange, food court, mini-marts, and shopping for almost any item one might need. If you need to go anywhere, there is a taxi queue at which the wait is no more than 15 seconds, in my experience. Everything is perfect at this hotel. My only complaint would be some rude adult guests who think it’s okay to shout in the hallways outside of others’ rooms at any hour of the night. This is not the fault of the hotel. Funny thing, too…it always seems to be the native English speakers who are prone to this sort of inconsiderate behavior. Anyway, GREAT hotel - book your reservation now!

Not a pleasant experience this time compared to the first hotel we stayed the days before. The check in process should be easy but the rep. Was giving us a hard time. Finally we got in the room and the floor was extremely dirty, lots of sands so had to call room services to vacuum right away as I have kids walking and crawling around. The next morning we were having breakfast at the Edge, again, bad experience: the lady at the pan cake stand was giving real bad attitude which I will write to the company with details for a formal complaint later. I stayed there for 4 nights and for the first 3 days i had to go down to the counter to get my door key reactivated as it stops working after we come back, very inconvenient especially with kids. Will not recommend and will stay elsewhere for my next visit.

This trip we had asked for a fold up bed (after check in) for our 4yr old but were told there was a extra cost of about $100 which was disappointing as other hotels we’ve stayed at have never charged for this service. Other than that, location is great and all the services are wonderful.
