It was my first time staying at Swissotel, and upon arriving, Amelia checked me in. She was kind and asked if it was my first time in Singapore (it wasn't), but it was my first time in the hotel. She kindly joked it will be the best experience at this hotel. My reservation had one room, but had two twin beds. I preferred one king as I was there on a conference. Keep in mind it was F1 weekend as well, so it was extremely busy. So I challenged her with "you said this will be the best experience, I know its F1 weekend, but is there a miracle that there is a room available with 1 King bed instead of two wins?" The hotel is centrally located in an area with a mix of colonial and modern buildings. The hotel is modern and the staff polite. The room was spacious by Singapore standards with comfy beds and a good shower. The balcony was great to catch a glimpse of the F1.
