"We took the train from Rossio Lisbon to Sintra and walked with our roller bags to the historic center. The route takes you on the perimeter of a lovely park with sculptures along the way. We made our way to Casa da Pendoa and got checked in by a very helpful and personable clerk, who also carried our bags down the outdoor street stairs to where our room was located. We had a studio with a kitchenette, which was fine and comfortable for one night. However, there was a bit of a moldy smell...
