I usually try to stay at a place for $100 or less. In that price range it can be hit or miss. This place was GREAT. The carpet was clean in the halls, the paint was precise, not sloppy, there were no noticeable places that needed repair, the pool was functional and warm, the hot tub was clean and hot, Joyce who checked me in was friendly and efficient, the shower had plenty of hot water and was easy to use, the linen was bright white, the room temp readily adjustable. Really can't think of any negatives.

I liked that it’s close to the Sanford Premier Center and has restaurants within a reasonable driving distance. There was food, bar, and pool options as well.

We’ve stayed here many times and I feel it’s a good value for the price. Breakfast could be improved upon as far as fruit choices and bringing back the waffles. The room smelled like aftershave but it seemed like that was the scent of the cleaning products.

The morning of checkout, the lock on my door quit working and I was not able to get into my room. There was no urgency to fix it even after I repeatedly mentioned that I had to leave for an appointment. Eventually, the non-ambitious maintenance employee was able to pry the door open. Not that I was expecting a refund, but I wasn’t acknowledged or apologized to over the major inconvenience that this caused. Everyone just went about their way. Oh, and the front desk clerk knew which room it was as soon as I mentioned the problem. Apparently, this lock has been causing issues. Overall, for being a newer facility, it was ok. My room had a funny smell, but everything else was ok.
