"Ein in Einzellage gelegenes, großes Haus in ruhiger, malerischer Umgebung. Landestypische Ausstattung und Einrichtung genügen gehobenen Ansprüchen und gestatten eine kleine Reise in die Vergangenheit. Wir genossen unseren kurzen Aufenthalt sehr, nachdem wir das Bett in Eigenregie benutzbar gemacht hatten. Bei einem Problem mit der Heizung wurde uns aber prompt geholfen."

"Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung, es liegt in einer ruhigen Straße am Waldrand. Es ist wunderschön im schwedischen Stil eingerichtet und man merkt, welche Mühe sich der Besitzer mir der Einrichtung gegeben hat. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet und lädt ein zum Kochen. Uns hat die Terrasse vor dem Haus abends sehr gut gefallen, man konnte von dort immer mal mit vorbeigehenden Nachbarn plauschen. "The hotel is a bit dated and run down. Stayed in summer and the rooms get very warm (no air conditioning). Alot of the time the reception staff where nowhere to be seen if you had an enquiry. Unfortunately your options are limited in where you can stay in Vetlanda. If you stay in Växjö then do this, much better hotels for less. money. Even had graffiti in the room. "

Nice, budget & dog friendly

"Nice small and cheap. Perfect for a night if you are on your way to/from Kostaboda or taking the ferry from Oskarshamn. Breakfast was added for 50 SEK, simply but nice. Not if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences though. However there was access to a kitchen with fridge so extra budget friendly if you are bringing your own food. And dog friendly! Quite a small town so if you arriving in the evening don't expect anything within walking distance to be open. We found a pizzeria a 10min drive away though ."
