"Very disappointing stay. This photos show a pleasant hotel with sea views. What we had was a view of the sea with a very ugly old half built building obscuring the view. The receptionist was surly, abrupt and generally unpleasant. No welcoming smile, I felt like we were a burden. The room was full of mosquitos. "This is an incredible hotel in so many ways and is an oasis of calm and tranquility. From the beautifully appointed room with its own pool to the gorgeous well maintained gardens, Elounda Palm provided everything we needed for a lovely relaxing holiday. All the staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is very good and the breakfast buffet and evening meal buffet offer a wide selection. The hotel is within walking distance of Elounda that has lots of restaurants and shops. The next town along the coast towards Spinalonga leper colony is Plaka and is definitely worth a visit. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is wanting a relaxing holiday in stunning surroundings. "
