Take a walk to the lake, a bathing place is located near Sjötorp. Vänern is also not only a versatile fishing water, but also a paradise for water sports enthusiasts and offers fantastic conditions for canoeing and SUP. If you prefer to be on land, you will appreciate the many hiking and biking trails that run around the lake. Stroll through the old town of Mariestad with its charming wooden houses and go on excursions in the archipelago. You can reach the island of Torö via a bridge, and the Brommö nature reserve is served by a ferry.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely vacation apartment near the lake! There are many restaurants and gift shops to choose from in this charming community. Riding the bicycles that were provided by the owners on the Gota Kanal bike path was a delight. We couldn’t be happier with our stay in Sjotorp!
