The lodge shown is not what we were given, instead of a nice new accommodation with two bathrooms we were given a 2008 very grubby and run down van on a different site with one very small toilet and shower room. Reason given was a broken bed that couldn't be mended, we were already halfway there when we received the message! The van we were given was very tired and dirty, rubbish under one of the beds, toothpaste stains in bathroom sink, broken glass on one of the shelves, kitchen sink was filthy and so was the inside of the kitchen bin (see photo), the cutlery and crockery was all stained, bits of food found on sofa, carpets were black in places, main bedroom smelled of old stale cigarettes. The fridge didn't work properly and we had to throw a lot of food away. We had no Wi-Fi for first two days as no code was left for us and it took us two days to get it. We had no choice to stay here as there was no alternative and we were already on our way there - most of the contact details on their website don't work. I did contact them several times while there and told them I had to go and buy cleaning materials and clean van myself and that we werent happy but we didnt get moved. I eventually managed to get an email address and sent a complaint with photos, offered a partial refund via text but no explanation or reply to my email. Just urging others to be very careful here as if you are offered Radford Lodge for a Gold or Platinum holiday, this is what you will get!
