Lovely hotel but parking can be a challenge
"Booked for a saturday night. Planned to arrive in the morning and park in the large car park. Unfortunately this is also a golf club so the car park was full so could not. Had we arrived around check in time 1500hrs, there would have been plenty of parking slots. Even non-EV cars parked in the EV ..."

"I booked a room with balcony I got room on the 3rd floor no balcony almost 50 stairs up not good when you are 75 years old.Room needs small unit to put unpacked clothes in and table by bed.bed was very comfortable but no mattress or pillow protectors.Did not see any staff during the week I was there.would ..."

Considering it was January early February the town was vibrant. Lots of shops, and everyone we encountered was friendly and approachable. It must be even more enjoyable in the summer.
