Since 1967, the Skyline Gondola has been taking visitors to the summit of Bob’s Peak for views across the Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu area. Skyline also operates a number of adventure activities on the mountain. The gondola is the best way to access the mountain biking, hiking and paragliding that takes place on Bob’s Peak. At the summit you will find access to a series of mountain biking and hiking trails, the Skyline luge tracks, a bungee jumping platform and a range of other adventure activities.Combine your trip on the gondola with one of Skyline’s cultural experiences at the top of Bob’s Peak. Skyline presents a performance of the Kiwi Haka, the traditional Maori battle dance, alongside a program of traditional stories from Maori history. Reservations for the Kiwi Haka are recommended as the intimate performance has a limited capacity of 77 guests.Skyline also has a restaurant at the top of the gondola ride, and your meal can be bundled with your ticket.
