"The main features of the hotel were very good and the exterior and views were great. Our room was good, but the outside patio could have done with a clean, also the patio furniture should be replaced because they are showing their age. The bathroom was in very good condition, except for the bath panel which is in need of replacing. Overall though we enjoyed our stay at the Passage House Hotel. "

"Very clean, refurbished recently, good facilities and helpful staff. A little too warm in the rooms as windows do not open very far ( assume health and safety rules?) and it was a very hot day , but a fan was provided. "

"Friendly reception and a lovely room, very clean and comfortable. Impressive buildings and grounds with access to the gardens included in the price of the stay. The on-site pub was great and in a characterful old part of the house. The breakfast was hosted in the pub and was a generous buffet-style hot breakfast with all the trimmings – really good value. Totnes is a short and easy walk, well paved and well lit so no problems going into the town at night for a gig and returning to the hotel after a couple of drinks. Would stay again if visiting the area and recommend it to all."

"A really good experience. The hotel is due to be refurbished and so is a little old fashioned, but very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly at Reception. The views from the restaurant and terrace are amazing. Would certainly go back. "
