"Annual girls trip; expectation of relaxation and fun. Upon arrival the Lodge was clean, new carpets, clean walls, new kitchen and well appointed/decorated throughout- looks can be deceiving. Preliminary walk around and checks found there was no fire alarms, fire blanket and no Welcome pack or inventory list of what to expect or where to go for emergency planning. Locks to back door broken- no keys to the other back and side door. Mouse trap and fresh droppings under the sink. No PAT testing of...

"Witham Cottage is a lovely small cottage with small windows and a super stable door. It is immaculate and very comfy. It is surrounded by the most well kept country gardens I have ever seen. There are several sitting out areas with tables and chairs complete with large bronze deer and all illuminated at night. Kathy and Alan the owners are lovely. This is the best cottage and garden we have ever stayed in. Thank you"

"A relaxing, well-equipped, cute ‘hideaway’. Hosts Natasha and John (who live in the adjoining farmhouse) could not have been more kind and welcoming although they were in no way intrusive. Comfortable bed! And we loved the big wardrobe which we were able to stow all our cases and bags in, out of sight and out of the way. "i went with my daughter, had an amazing time! my cousins were at arena uk just 7 mins drive. so had the comfort of being able to relax at the beginning and end of day. Loved the fact had internet and watch all my favourite programmes on Netflix etc. My daughter was able to chill in her own room with tv at the end of a busy day. "

"We had a lovely stay. The house had everything we needed. Good location with easy parking. The owner was there on arrival and showed us around, which was very helpful! The only thing which wasn't clear on the listing (I also looked on other sites) was that the garden is not fully fenced and with a river at the bottom of the garden, children would need to be supervised at all times. I would recommend this place. The hot tub was great!"

"Hen party of 18 so this house was perfect for the occasion. Owners communication was excellent, very helpful, greeted on arrival and only had to call if any problems. We managed to make use of the pool and hot tub. Good location , local pubs in walking distance and shops. Only down side was we had to buy washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc.. house could of done with just little stuff like that. Overall lovely house and would reccomend ."
