"We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms...

"A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. "Boyfriend and I went here for our 1 year anniversary/ Valentine’s Day. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included both mornings. We were truly looked after and all the staff are so friendly and professional. The room is absolutely stunning with ‘posh’ tea and coffee ready for you as-well as a kettle, cups, water and glasses. They have a happy hour between 6-7 which we took full advantage off as the cocktails are absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to stay here again "
