The new get away
Researched places to go and found this property. We've been twice now and are going back in about nine months. It's simple and perfect for us. It's not "over beached up" with shells and mini surf boards. Great, really great view of the front yard ocean. Everything about renting this place works great.

Incredible location with amazing views
The house has an amazing location right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood of Topsail Island. The views from the wrap around porch and the giant picture windows were stunning. The house was well maintained with new furniture that was very comfortable to sit in and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The host was very easy to reach and answered all our questions. Getting access was very easy. We would definitely stay here again.slept beds

Steps to the sand!

Private beachfront getaway
This was our second trip to this property. The location and views from both inside the house and outside can’t be beat! In October, it’s quiet. We stood on the glorious beach and could look right and left and we were alone but for one neighbor. A whole ocean to ourselves! We love this property and the owner is super responsive. No doubt we’ll be back.

Robbie was a great host and always responded to our emails. The house was just what we wanted in terms of location and size. It's quaint and not overdone with flagrant beach decorations. Very comfortable. We are going back in three months. Returning is the biggest compliment that we can give it. Very, very nice place. LW

Perfect Beach Getaway
Perfect location on a quiet street. A few steps to the beach. Beautiful views. I'm glad I brought my own (folding) lounge chair for reading and naps. The wooden chairs are hard on my back. Took naps on the deck every day! Maybe host will consider adding a few comfortable lounge chairs as he was very open to suggestions with a few minor other things. Communication was great. My friend and i were impressed with the beds. Now we both want a new mattress for our beds at home. Robbie provided name of mattress. Overall wonderful experience!

Perfect
We enjoyed our stay at Catch a View. The home was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We spent most of our time on the back porch enjoying the sun rises, sunsets and all the hours in between. I highly recommend this home for your next stay and the communication with the host is excellent. We look forward to another stay here.

Short but Sweet
While our beach plans were dampened by Debby, our stay was still amazing. We loved the AMAZING view, location and amenities of the house. We watched the Olympics while stealing time at the beach between the rain. Communication with Robbie was great! We hope to return under sunnier circumstances.

Wonderful House for the Family
We loved staying at "Catch a View" It was the perfect size for our small family and pet. There were plenty of utensil and appliances for use. The house was extremely clean and stocked with fresh towels and linens. Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay! We will be renting again in the near future!!

Great experience overall. There were a couple opportunities with cleaning and some updates and small repairs are needed, however none of that took away from an amazing location and property. This was everything we were after and appreciated the great communication.

"My husband and I rented this place for a week to relax and unwind. The views were stunning and we loved the small-town island atmosphere. We were thrilled that we could bring our dogs along too. The property was exactly as described in the listing. The best part was that it was located very close to the beach."

This property was exactly as described. Perfect bungalow on the beach. Easy stay with great communication. Bonus-the sleeper sofa in the living room was 5 star comfortable (serta)-so much so we bought one for our own home. We would definitely stay here again.

There is no better deck anywhere!
We rented this house last year and again this year. The view is unparalleled from the deck that leads directly onto the beach. We watched the pelicans and saw dolphins too! The house was comfortable and warm (we stay in December). We love the beach in the wintertime! The host is responsive and welcoming. The house is well equipped for the needs of a family. Five stars!
