There are nice beaches nearby but bear in mind that you will need transport to get to them - and the local roads are narrow, winding and sometimes quite potholed. We were aware of the distance for shopping and restaurants but the 12 minute drive to the main road was worth every minute once arriving to the home. "It's about an hour and 20 minutes outside of Athens. We spent our week at this gorgeous home and have never felt so refreshed. The town nearby is cute and has a lot of shops and a great spa. There's a lookout by the lighthouse right down the road and the restaurants nearby were all great. The host was super helpful and easily contacted. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're traveling with a group. 10/10 I would book this place again. "

"Gorgeous hidden gem! A little lost in the middle of nowhere but well worth the detour. Rooms,view, pool,staff, breakfast 10/10. Be careful though as according to google map there 2 roads that lead to the property. One is an old road, no longer maintained not paved and very dangerous. Make sure you take the right road."

"God what a place, best island in Greece!! Hotel was pleasant & value for the money! By now I’m used to the showers in Greece flooding the whole bathroom - it’s just the way it is.
