Loved the classic interior of this hotel. Good service, Receptionist at the front desk to answer questions and provide human contact. Comfortable beds and proper tablecloths on the dining tables. Lovely.

Very nice clean and modern Hotel with an upscale look. Bed was too soft though, even my wife said that. And she performs a soft bed. Breakfast was excellent.

Liked teo comfortable armchairs in each room. Large lobby/lounge area. Buffet dinner at the hotel option weekday nights for 340 kroner each. Area is walkable to other restaurants. Close parking, but pay by the hour 8-5.

We were greeted with a warm welcoming greeting by . He was very helpful in giving directions and recommending dining options. The room was very spacious. We also enjoyed a beautiful view. Water pressure was great. The windows were able to be opened. The morning breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful town.

Clean and tidy. The staff was superb. The airline lost our luggage, which was a bummer because we had very little in our carry on bag, but the receptionist went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She also was very helpful in advising stores to meet our needs as well as restaurant recommendations! Breakfast was included and delicious with an abundance of choices.

The rooms were great but the service was awful. Dropped laundry off was told it would be ready between 8:00-9:00 the next morning. At 9:00 was told it hadn’t been started but would be fine later that day. The resulted in my kids wearing their pajamas for our fjord cruise that day. the day At 20:00 we were told it still wasn’t done and our clothes were wet and line drying. When I complained to the manager that it wasn’t done despite being told it would be twice she said it wasn’t her problem. One male staff member simply said “ complaining won’t get it dried faster” which obviously upset me as now the kids didn’t have pajamas to wear either. Finally got the clothes the following morning and some were still damp. This was the only hotel we stayed at two nights in a row or it really could have been really bad for the rest of our trip. Lack of Staff training was bad enough but the manager response was inexcusable Won’t stay there again
