"This is very clean comfortable hotel in an excellent location for theatres , china town and tubes. 2 min walk to Prince Edward Theatre in the heart of Soho’s pubs and restaurants. "Fantastic location and beautiful building dating back to the early 18th century. Full of character and some lovely unique features. The library with its honesty bar is lovely. The only drawbacks are: no lift which can be a problem if you are at the top of the building. The stairs are rickety and ancient. quite difficult to negotiate. Breakdast is in room but there is nowhere on the rooms to eat in comfort. There are no wardrobes in the room...which is ok...but there are no hooks for hanging up...

"The best part about this hotel is the location. Great spot for walking to either shops in SoHo or Mayfair. Hotel itself is nice. Tacky, but in an entertaining way. Room was comfortable, but was noisy. Could hear everything in the hall and through the walls. Bed was a-mazing (best part of the room), but the shower was a bit dirty. It smelled a little like ammonia and you could hear/feel the old water squishing under the shower flooring when you stepped in before you turned the water on. Also...

I informed them of my late arrival in advance, and they followed up multiple times to ensure I had all the details to access the property and my room.
