"We really enjoyed our stay at this magnificent hotel. The staff and service is first class. The decor is the high end Sardi decor I was hoping to experience. Dinner at La Palma was superbe, not to mention the romantic ambiance and elegant decor. The daily breakfasts were a great way to start the day and were presented in such a fine fashion. Lunch near the pool area was also very good. The grounds and vegetation are stunning and the beach is beautiful. This is a beautiful venue to recharge the batteries. Would highly recommend!"

"We loved our stay at this hotel which was a family holiday for 8 days. We booked two of the larger rooms (one double one single in each) as we were four (parents and children aged 19,21). The rooms were great with one of them semi divided down the middle. We could see the biggest rooms could take a family of 4 with younger children and those had the balcony. The hotel price is good - much less than central Calagari and with a car we had easy access to the city with a 15 min drive. The beach was 2 mins drive or 15-20 mins walk and was a nice beach with some restaurants. Other nicer beaches to the east were 20 mins drive which were good for snorkelling. There were restaurants nearby but we preferred to drive to the city and eat there most days. We visited a small winery town one day (Serdiana) and did a mountains walk. The hotel doesn’t have great views but not a big issue - it was quiet and the hotel had feee parking. The aircon was fine although we never had really hot weather. It may have struggled more in 36-40c. The staff were very helpful and room service great- all very clean. The breakfast we only had one day - it was fine but we didn’t want much so found a nice place opposite that did coffee and pastries for a good price. Most restaurants are good prices for pizza / pasta unless you go very fancy. Drinks are quite cheap and ice creams. As a UK family it was nice to go somewhere not so populated with Brits. The mini bar was useful as a fridge. Thank you Best Western!"

"I got the Junior suite room for my 4 day stay. The room was very big and spacious. It had a nice TV, sofa, working table and chairs, a Jacuzzi. The room amenities and the breakfast was also good. However, being a 4 star hotel I would expect more. For example, the wifi signal was extremely poor and not coming from the bed. The room was very dusty. Especially curtains, sofa, the table tops seems to be very dusty. There were stain marks on the lamp shades. Some of the lights were not working. The taps in the bathroom were very odd. The flush and even the jacuzzi switch was odd and difficult to use. The bathtub was odd as well by design. In general it was a good stay, but it could have been much much better. Two major improvements which the hotel should do: (1) much better wifi connection, especially from the bed room (2) should clean everything thoroughly to remove the dusts. It was too dusty. Also, the breakfast place should keep a coffee machine, everytime I had to request to get coffee"
