I have stayed here on many occasions in the last few years and have never been disappointed. Staff is excellent no matter what shift you have to talk to. Between the app and points you can earn I have stayed a few days on the house.

I was given a handicap accessible room for some reason. That was a different experience for me. The breakfast was minimal but good. I wanted to walk to the train station but was advised against it, especially after dark.

The afternoon desk manager that checked us in might have had the best customer service I've ever experienced. Being from North Carolina, we had no idea about navigating our way into and out of Manhattan. After getting us checked in and comfortable, he gave us so many ideas and tips on the city and what was the best ways to get around. He even drew us a map!! Dealing with him and his customer service, I honestly felt like I was at the Ritz Carlton.

The Quality Inn is a property that has seen many years of use. The owners seem to be in the process of replacing worn-out carpets with new flooring and adding features like new lighting. There doesn't seem to be a coordinated plan for the renewal, but the property is a place to sleep and have a decent breakfast, no more. One complaint: soundproofing between the rooms is poor. The price was right and the location in terms of the Smithfield Shopping Center is advantageous.

The hotel was average at best, the room and bathroom could have been cleaner and so could the hotel itself. We only spent about 7 hours here for quick overnight stay before driving back home so it served its purpose

Staff was great and the building was easy to find. Only concern I had was the door to the room was left propped open by the top lock when we arrived. Nothing was effected inside but it did concern us that anyone could’ve gotten into our room.
