"The apartment is located in an old hotel but the location & condition of the very large apartment was very good. Driving to all the villages in the Engandine was a beautiful experience. The location is excellent & many restaurants are available within 5 miles ."

"This generously sized duplex apartment is clean, warm & spacious. It is conveniently located beside the Magnolta ski lift and directly beside the local public swimming pool which was ideal for us. There is a free daily ski bus shuttle that runs on a half hour basis throughout the day and this stops outside the swimming pool. The host is contactable and very pleasant to deal with. "Two weeks spent in the Valtellina at the height of summer. The house was ideally situated for exploring the various different small valleys that lead to the high mountains encircling the valtellina. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with little or no distractions. Everything in the house was as expected and we echo the recommendation to eat at the rifugio Mello."

A jewel in a charming city

"Hotel Centrale is a jewel hotel. The staff at reception, Giovanni and Irena, were friendly and helpful and it showed that they really care about their guests having a great stay. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the washroom was very clean. They served a very good breakfast.The location was within walking distance of the train station and excellent restaurants. It was a good starting point for walks around the beautiful city. We would highly recommend this hotel."
