"The Zugspitz Lodge was one of the best parts of our trip! It’s a little slice of heaven with beautiful 360 views. The staff was helpful and super accommodating. The lodge was super clean and cozy! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend! "

"A wonderful hidden gem on the side of a lake, overlooked by beautiful mountains. Lovely staff, delicious food. Just an easy place to stay and relax. I was told we were the 6th British couple to stay in the last 5 years. I'm not completely convinced by that but who cares, it was a joy."

"Amazing location. Ours was a quadruple room. Balcony all around with garden and mountain views. The property does not have reception for check in. You need to go to another nearby hotel to check in and get the keys. But the owners worked with us to do an online check in, the previous day, and left the key for us at the location in a secure box. "Loved the property as it was almost fairytale like. The staff was lovely and did everything possible to help us navigate the area. It is not easily reached by train and Uber is non-existent, but the property and its location is 5 star. Breakfast was included and it more than exceeded my expectation. If you are have a car, put this on your Favorites List. "

"The property is beautiful but the rooms are very tiny and there is no real place for large suitcases. We had two twin beds and my mattress kept moving as it had no where to go on one side as it was up against a wall. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant and cleaned the room up nicely. We did not pay for breakfast but large area was open to all as was the fridge and plates and silverwear which was great for leftovers. A microwave in basement is really needed.
