"My wife and I stayed for four nights in mid-July 2025. We only wish we could have stayed longer! This cottage was everything we could have hoped for. Beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and well-equipped: the kitchen lacked for nothing, even coffee was provided. Of course the property is blessed with a wonderful setting on Sooke Inlet. We loved the beauty and calm of the waterfront, with perfect sunny weather, a refreshing change from the heat and humidity back home. Since our stay was part of a longer visit to the area, we did use the laundry facilities, and these too were top-notch.I should mention that there are 47 steps from the paved path down to the front door. This is not a criticism - they are well maintained and well lit by motion-sensing lights after dark - but it might be a concern for somebody with mobility issues. If the listing and photos appeal to you, don’t hesitate to book a stay: they come close to capturing the beauty and serenity of the place, but it’s even better in reality!"

" The unit and location are stunning! we loved the view and the floor to celling windows. We had everything we needed for a great stay. visually the surrounding property is not at is best as it’s under construction which was loud when we were in the parking lot but not an issue in unit or on balcony. It was quite a hike from the city on a beautiful but windy road."
