We were fortunate to have a room with a stunning view of Mount Vesuvius, which truly enhanced our experience. The serene, quiet location of the hotel offered breathtaking vistas that made our stay even more memorable. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcomed, showcasing a level of hospitality that went above and beyond. A special mention must be given to their thoughtful assistance in arranging for a forgotten pack of clothes to be sent back to our home in the USA—they handled this with remarkable efficiency and care. In summary, La Vue D’Or combines amazing views, a peaceful setting, and outstanding service. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento."

"Wonderful location, staff, and amenities. The views are spectacular and the grounds are gorgeous. All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. There were no communication issues and everyone was multilingual. We would certainly stay again. The food was excellent with significant portions. We also had options to dine by the water or above overlooking the water and the boats. The sunset at dinner was magnificent. I would suggest that the hotel give guests a way to express their appreciation via tips on the actual food and beverage bills. I tried to add that on to several bills only to later learn they could not do that. It made tipping the staff for their extraordinary service difficult as I don’t always have cash on hand while on vacation. "
