The room was small but clean. You had all of the amenities of the hotel which was amazing. However, The building was very loud you could hear water gulping sounds, people above you, loud in the ally way.
The central location was ideal. Having use of the hotel for the pool and buffet breakfast was great. Would have liked if facilities were provided in the room to make tea or coffee.
Great stay in Sorrento. Wonderful location to get around the area and also was wonderful that we were able to use the facilities and wonderful buffet breakfast included at the Hotel Conca Park. The use of the facilities alone makes this a great pick to stay in Sorrento!
Amazing pool, great food, good selection. Rooms were modern and lovely bathroom and air conditioning. Good location near the main street. Staff were super helpful- would definitely go again.
We loved our stay at Via Capo Rooms, we enjoyed the pol and amenities of the Conca Park hotel. The included breakfast buffet was amazing! Highly recommend!
Our room was very small but we did not spend much time in it. The bed was comfortable and it had a giod bathroom and shower. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the daily free breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and right next to the hotel. You can use the pool and go for breakfast, drink in the bar and charge drinks to your room. Easy to walk into the centre of beautiful Sorrento. Check-in is at the hotel itself. The hotel has a couple of entrances, so if walking from the train station make sure your route takes you to the entrance by the Lieve restaurant. Enjoy!
An extremely beautiful setting and a top notch service. Very happy with our stay and could highly recommend. Downsides was the cleaning in our room that was okay but not more then that and also bed was a bit hard and small. But overall great value for money and would definitely come again!
Very clean, great location. Great pool, great value.
Noise is an issue if you’re not up late, trash trucks, upstairs footsteps, adjoining rooms all pretty loud. Not a problem unless you’re trying to have a night in.
Via Capo is a part of the Hotel Conca Park and has great location to explore Sorrento and while we didn’t use all of the hotel amenities the breakfast buffet was well appointed. Our room was comfortable with a king size bed and a good size modern bathroom. Entering and exiting the accommodations is strange and requires to either walk up a long incline “gallery” or getting a golf cart driver. Large group check-outs were interesting, and we planned accordingly.
Via Capo was a terrific find. It is part of the 4 star Hotel Conca Park and you will be able to use all of the hotel amenities including the pool as well as the breakfast buffet. The add on unit only has 6 rooms in a separate building which is located right next door. Room 124 is the only room with a balcony. The room is large enough for a king size bed and a desk and chair as well as a good size modern bathroom.
We had one of the Capo rooms, and it was just right for us. Having a mini fridge was nice. The room wasn't overly large, but we were really only in it to sleep or get ready for dinner, so it was enough space. Having an included breakfast was an added bonus. There was maid service each day (we never actually saw them because we were always gone), but they never replaced our towels. I'm fine with using the same towels for 3-4 days, but thought they would be replaced at least once. Maybe we needed to specifically request it?
Otherwise, we would recommend staying here, and hope to again ourselves.
I would have like some coffee making facilities in my room. I like to have coffee when I wake up.
The neighbours were loud and at one point someone fell asleep with the TV on very loud until 2am. There was no telephone to contact anyone regarding this issue, without myself, single female knocking on the door.
The stairs to reception could have a sign as i was leaving at 5.30am and it was not clear as to where to go for reception. The doors at lift in the hotel were closed. Yes there was a note on the doors, but having a clearer defined sign for reception would be handy.
Other than the above issues, I enjoyed my stay and the breakfast staff were very welcoming and friendly.
My stay at Via Capo Rooms in Sorrento was thoroughly enjoyable. The hotel offered a range of amenities that enhanced my experience. The room itself was cozy and meticulously clean, providing a comfortable retreat after exploring the charming town.
One of the highlights was the breakfast offered at Via Capo Rooms. It was delicious and varied, with a selection of fresh pastries, fruits, and local specialties. The breakfast provided a delightful start to each day, and the dining area was pleasant and well-maintained.
Additionally, the hotel features a gym and a swimming pool, which were fantastic amenities to have. The gym allowed me to keep up with my fitness routine while traveling, and the swimming pool provided a refreshing way to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The staff at Via Capo Rooms were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my stay. They were helpful with recommendations and made me feel welcome.
While my room did not have a view, I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the comfortable amenities provided. The location of the hotel was also ideal for exploring Sorrento's historic streets and nearby sights like Piazza Tasso and the waterfront.
Overall, Via Capo Rooms provided a comfortable and convenient base for exploring Sorrento. With its friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and excellent amenities including a gym and swimming pool, it offers excellent value for visitors to this beautiful coastal town.
We spent 3 nights and 2 days in the Via Capo rooms that are hotel rooms that are functionally part of, but in a separate adjacent (what appears to be) an apartment building just outside the grounds of Hotel Conca Park on a back street/alley. There is easy access via very short outside walk through a gate just outside the Via Capo outside door to the public areas of the Hotel Conca Park including check in, lobbies, pool and restaurant. Parking is available in the Hotel Conca Park garage, if requested ahead of time, and is a real convenience as one is able to avoid hassles of street parking. The main Conca Park hotel itself was very nice and location is walkable to various shopping, eating venues, sites and marina for ferries. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Via Capo room was a bit small and up a flight of stairs, and ours did not have a view, but did not spend much time in it. It was up to date and clean with comfortable bed and pillows and nice bathroom. It worked for us given limited time spent in it, but optimally if one was to spend more time there would have liked one a bit larger with view (apparently not available given late timing of reservation). Actually the location on the small back street made check out easy as we were able to pull the car around to the Via Capo outside access door and load car directly w/o having to go through the main hotel with luggage to parking which is a bit of a haul (although golf cart transport to parking is available).
Excellent hotel!
The pool, the garden, the restaurant.
Everything was amazing.
Very close to the city center.
10 out of 10, would definitely recommend it.
